Program
Day 1
Arrival in Douala. Installation at the hotel.
Dinner and night.
Day 2
Breakfast.
Departure from Douala at 8 am to Buea by going through the town of Mutengene on the slopes of Mount Cameroon.
Continuation to Kumba.
Pic-nic on the way.
Boat excursion (in canoes) on lake Barombi, and visit of the creeper bridge.
Installation at the hotel.
Dinner and night.
Day 3
Breakfast, departure to Mount Manengouba (2340 m), which shelters Bororo villages. You will discover magnificent plains where wild horses and zebus live.
Ascension by foot to the summit (this should be a little challenge).
Picnic beside the two crater lakes: the "male" and the "female". One is blue, and the other one is green. Return by Banguem.
Installation at the hotel.
Dinner and night.
Day 4
Breakfast.
Departure to Dschang. Visit of the artisanal centre and continuation to Bamenda.
Lunch in a restaurant.
Visit of Bafut at 20km (the palace of the Fon).
Performance of traditional dance executed by princes and princess.
Lodging and dinner at the Bafut chiefdom.
Day 5
Breakfast.
Departure to the "ring road".
On the way, visit of the artisanal pottery of Bamessing and the museum of Babunga which has 300 african masks.
Continuation to Kumbo by passing through Ndop and Jakiri.
Picnic on the way.
Arrival at Oku.
Dinner and night at a local family house.
Day 6
Breakfast.
Visit of the OkuÕs village, discussion with the "Fon" (chief) of the Oku .
Visit of the Kilum Ijim Project and the museum.
Picnic.
Dinner and night at a local family house.
Day 7
Breakfast.
Departure to Foumban by passing through Ndop and Jakiri.
Picnic.
In Foumban visit of the Bamoun city, the palace of the Sultan, and the artisanal village.
Installation at a hotel. Dinner and night
Day 8
Breakfast.
Departure to Bandjoun.
Visit of one of the most beautiful BamilŽkŽ chiefdom.
Return to Yaounde or Douala.
