Limbé offers a number of curiosities, among which are its lovely volcanic black-sand beaches. In this small town, well-known for its friendly dwellers, one can really feel the beauty and soothing tranquility of nature.

Program

Day 1
On your way to Buea from Douala, stop and take a closer look at heveas (ruber trees) [1], banana trees and african oil palms plantations. Discover monuments dating back from the german occupation [2] on the slopes of impressive Mount Cameroon. Dinner and night in Buea.

Day 2
Arriving in Limbé, visit the tea plantations [3] and factory producing the world-famous cameroonese tea. Discover the local fauna and flora at Limbé's botanical garden and zoo, where a number of tropical plants and trees are protected. After lunch, visit the rescue center, and enjoy a relaxing swim in the ocean [4]. Dinner and night at a sea-side hotel.

Day 3
After breakfast, walk on the solidified lava from Mount Cameroon's last eruption [5], which covers an important area of this region. Relax on the wild beaches, still untouched by mass tourism. Lunch and return to Douala.
