Program
Day 1 (Sunday) Maroua-Mindif-Maroua. Arrival in the morning at the Maroua airport, visit of the main market, one of the biggest pre-colonial markets in Cameroon. Lunch; departure to the mindif Peak [1]; Fantasia. Return to Maroua. Dinner and night.
Day 2 (Monday): Maroua-Waza After breakfast, departure to Waza National Park, well-known for its rich fauna: lions, elephants, chimpanzees, giraffes, etc... [2]. Lunch, and the safari continues. Dinner and night.
Day 3 (Tuesday): Waza Park. Breakfast, then one more day of discovery at Waza National Park. Dinner and night in the camp.
Day 4 (Wednesday): Waza-Oudjilla-Koza-Rhumsiki After breakfast, departure to Oudjilla, lunch in the camp of Oudjilla. On the way, tradional huts are to be seen on the top of the hills [3]. Next we discover the sunset on the amazing landscape of Kapsiki. Dinner and night at the camp of Rhumsiki.
Day 5 (Thursday): Rhumsiki-Tourou-Mabas-Mokolo-Maroua Breakfast, departure to Tourou and visit of its market [4], lunch, continuation in the direction of Mabas, a beautiful village located at the frontier with Nigeria. Visit of the museum of Mokolo. Continuation to Maroua. Dinner and night.
Day 6 Friday): Maroua-Douala Breakfast, visit of the Maroua town communities. Flight to Douala. Lunch, transfer to the Douala international airport for final departure.
NB: This program is based on the weekend rates for flights to Maroua. Waza National Park is closed during the rainy season (from june to october).
