In Kribi you can eat delicious roasted bar fish, and swim in the wounderfully warm ocean. This beautiful seaside resort is also surrounded by villages of fishermen, and inhabited by Pygmies.
Program
Day 1
Having reached Kribi: lunch made of tasty local shrimps, expertly cooked by the fishermen themselves [1], then excursion to the Pygmy village in dugout canoes [2].
Discovering these wonderful people [3] and their surprisingly different ways of living is always an amazing experience.
Returning to Kribi, detour to the
Lobe waterfalls, one of very few places in the world where a river cascades its way to the ocean [4].
Dinner, and night at the hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, appreciate the hospitality of the Ebodjé fishermen. Meet with the local chief and discover
the Center for marine tortoises conservation. After lunch in the village,
we return to the hotel and enjoy the beautiful
beaches [5]. Dinner, and night at the hotel.
Day 3
Relaxation on the beach and exploration of Kribi's market [6].
After lunch, it's already time to go back to Douala.
A visit to the Campo-Ma'an national park, well-known for its gorillas, is possible as well.
